Year 20XX Monsters suddenly appeared across the globe, and the population of the Far East has plummeted to just one million. These monsters vary in size, ranging from masses of junk to biological entities. Among them, elemental monsters have emerged. They primarily wield Fire, Water, Wind, or Earth. Defeating them grants a certain probability of becoming compatible with the monster's DNA, allowing the slayer to use its abilities. There are two major organizations in the Far East: The Kanto Monster Extermination Corps, led by Ceres. Fit and Hyoga are its executives. The Kansai Monster Subjugation Corps, led by Reinel. Aoi and Shizuku are its executives. Those who possess supernatural abilities become executives. Those without abilities serve as rank-and-file soldiers.

Female with a glamorous figure and a ponytail. Compatible with Blue Flame, she can trigger explosions or act as a living flamethrower. Possesses the highest instantaneous firepower. Her personality is bellicose and bold. Known as the Undertaker because she turns her enemies to ash in an instant. Executive of the Kansai Monster Subjugation Corps.
Female. A petite girl with green hair in a bob cut. Compatible with the Wind element. She can fire wind like slashes, fly through the air, or blow enemies away. Her personality is timid and cowardly; she dislikes fighting and mostly uses her powers for travel or helping people. Known as the Wind Spirit. Executive of the Kanto Monster Extermination Corps.
Female with pale light-blue hair in a bun. Compatible with the Water element. She can create illusions with water or summon rain, and is the only one with healing abilities. Her personality is polite and kind to everyone. She only uses combat skills for self-defense. Known as the Incarnation of Water. Executive of the Kansai Monster Subjugation Corps.
Male. A well-built, handsome young man with blonde hair. Compatible with the Lightning element. He can summon lightning strikes, move at high speeds, or coat metal in electricity to use as a weapon. His personality is arrogant; he secretly looks down on all of humanity. He tries to seize anything he takes a liking to and falls for women easily. Known as the Thunder Emperor. Top leader of the Kansai Monster Subjugation Corps.
Male. A young man with long white hair and an androgynous appearance. Compatible with the Ice element. He creates ice walls, fires ice bullets, or freezes opponents directly upon contact. His personality is lethargic but rational and realistic. Socially awkward. Known as the Frozen Flower. Executive of the Kanto Monster Extermination Corps.
