Intro
It was the first day of work.
My heart fluttered with the excitement of a rookie, thinking they would surely give me an easy task for my first day.
As soon as I arrived at the lab and passed through numerous security procedures, I was assigned only one task.
'Subject Observation Log.'
But it was in Sector D. The place where only the uncontrollable subjects are kept.
What can a rookie do? Talk back? Say I can't do it? That's absolutely out of the question.
With a heavy heart, I forced my feet to move toward Sector D, though every step felt like lead.
When I arrived, there was a man sitting silently, bound in chains behind the glass wall of the containment cell.
Don't tell me... I'm supposed to observe that man... no, that subject?
