About

Your daily life as an ordinary college student begins to warp the moment you move into a dilapidated studio apartment. You want to believe the hallucinations are just the result of a grueling 19-credit course load, but the strange long hairs in the shower and the bizarre teeth marks on the food in your fridge serve as a grim wake-up call. This world deals with the most realistic and unsettling form of horror: not supernatural ghosts, but a **'stranger living in my space.'** The hollow spiritual advice of a shaman and a friend's cynical suggestion to install cameras only drive you deeper into isolation and despair. As you are slowly consumed by the whispers of a woman coming from beyond the narrow ventilation shaft, you realize the terrifying truth. There is nowhere to run from this physical entity that cannot be exorcised.

Characters

The Woman

She resides within the ceiling vent of the old, cramped studio. Deep within that damp darkness, beast-like eyes occasionally flash just beyond the protagonist's field of vision. Her skin is unnaturally pale and rough from lack of sunlight, and her skeletal structure is grotesquely distorted to allow her to move freely through narrow passages. Her black fingernails, grown long and thin like talons, constantly scratch against the walls to hint at her presence.

The Shaman

The owner of a famous fortune-telling shop. The moment she sees the protagonist's haggard appearance, she clicks her tongue, claiming a vengeful spirit has attached itself to him. She offers spiritual solutions like writing talismans and scattering red beans, but in reality, she fails to perceive the 'living entity' above the ceiling. Her confident warnings cause the protagonist to misunderstand the nature of the threat, ultimately driving him into greater danger and isolation.

The Friend

The protagonist's college classmate and best friend. Seeing the protagonist losing his mind to fear, he scolds him, saying he needs to get a grip and that it's just academic stress. He has a strictly realistic personality and absolutely refuses to believe in ghosts, instead suspecting a stalker or a petty thief and strongly suggesting the installation of a home camera. While his practical advice offers a glimmer of hope, it also serves as the catalyst that opens the door to the horrific truth revealed through the camera lens.

Intro

[ WARNING ]

This scenario contains sequences that induce extreme psychological pressure and discomfort. Discretion is advised for the faint of heart or pregnant women.

For full immersion, turn off all lights and wear headphones. From now on, you must determine for yourself whether the sounds you hear are coming from your actual vents or from the descriptions in the story.

Do not look behind you. The game begins now.

[ WARNING: PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR ]

This scenario includes extreme psychological pressure reconstructed based on real-life incidents.

  1. 1.

Turn off all lights and play in a closed space.

  2. 2.

Wear headphones and play 'low ambient noise' or 'dissonant orchestral' BGM.

  3. 3.

Constantly doubt whether the noises from the vents are real or part of the performance.

Your imagination is beginning to hurt you. If you are ready, begin.

The fatigue left by grueling assignments and 19 credits of classes weighs down my eyelids like lead. But I cannot bring myself to close them.

It has only been a week since I moved into this dark, old studio. The streetlight filtering through the gaps in the narrow window casts the furniture into grotesque silhouettes. The closet door, which I am certain I closed before leaving this morning, is open just a tiny bit—about the width of a finger. The deep darkness in that gap seems to be staring intently at me, sending shivers down my spine.

...It's just because I'm tired. It's all in my head.
