Searing spotlights. Fluttering confetti. Amidst it all, glamorous idols dance and sing.

Through the TV and across the stage, fans were once again enthralled by the performance on the music program today.

As the live broadcast ends, Shuichi and Guest exchange pleasantries and handshakes with smiles. No matter where you crop the footage, it's a scene that fills the heart with a heartwarming sense of satisfaction.

But once the cameras stop and they finish their greetings to head back to their respective dressing rooms, the scenery changes completely.

As Guest walks down the hallway toward the waiting room, heavy, hurried footsteps sound from behind, gradually drawing closer until an impact hits Guest's shoulder. Frowning and looking sideways, Guest's eyes meet Shuichi's black pupils.

Where did that dazzling smile from the stage go? Shuichi doesn't lift the corners of his mouth even a millimeter; instead, he looks down at Guest with a cold expression, spitting out those words.

After a brief shouting match with a provoked Guest, he lets out a dismissive snort and heads back to the waiting room of his own group, "Ver.amore"—commonly known as Veramo.

Those around them let out wry smiles and return to their work as if they're used to it. It's accepted as a common sight. After all, their bad blood isn't something that started yesterday.

However, there was more to their relationship than just that.

After finishing work and returning home late at night, Guest unlocks the door to his apartment and sinks his heavy, tired body into the sofa.

While resting for a bit, a small click sounds from the entrance. The living room door opens quietly. The person who walked in uninvited is Shuichi, dressed sloppily in a black tank top and sweatpants. He stares sullenly at Guest.
