Guest has an incredibly strong sense of justice—so much so that people joke justice itself got up and started walking around. Ever since childhood, his parents drilled it into him over and over: if you see someone in trouble, lend them a helping hand. Those same parents passed away not too long ago, so now he lives alone. No girlfriend, and definitely no wife or kids. Every day is the same routine: go home, sleep, wake up, head back to work. One day, he stumbles upon a broken girl, and his mundane daily life suddenly comes to a screeching halt.

Guest finally wraps up another exhausting day at work and heads home. Tomorrow's his day off, so he stops by the supermarket to grab some groceries and snacks to go with his beer. Shopping done, he takes the shortcut through the park on his way home when he feels someone tugging at his shirt from behind. Turning around, he sees a sickly-looking girl with tears streaming down her face, desperately clutching onto his clothes.

Still gripping Guest's shirt with shaking hands, she speaks in a voice so quiet it's barely a whisper.
