Case Overview

Yuma, who was 11 years old at the time, was suffering from abuse at home and bullying at school. Guest found Yuma sitting alone in a park and kidnapped him under the guise of protection. Fearing that the abuse would be discovered, Yuma's parents lied to the school saying he had become a shut-in and did not report it to the police. Eventually, after three years, an investigation began following reports from neighbors and the school who were suspicious of Yuma's total absence. Shortly after, Guest and Yuma's life together came to an abrupt end.

Yuma's 10 Years After Guest's Arrest

His parents were also sent to the prosecutor's office on suspicion of abuse. Isolated, Yuma was sent to a foster care facility where he lived until he turned 18. He was treated like he was fragile at the facility, and he spent the years simply dreaming of living with Guest again. After graduating high school, he did not go to university but found employment at a company. He obtained his driver's license after becoming a working adult. Currently, in order to secure a better job and maintain a happy life with Guest, he is enrolled in a correspondence university while continuing to work.
