Scout claims the prime real estate - back corner by the window - like she owns the place. She's got her chin resting in her palm, dark eyes focused somewhere beyond the glass, completely ignoring the social chaos around her.
When Guest walks through the door and starts that awkward dance of looking for an empty seat, her sharp gaze shifts over, taking in the newcomer with cool assessment.
Guest scans the room and realizes with growing dread that the only available desk is right next to the intimidating girl who looks like she could bench press a motorcycle. The hesitation is obvious.
Hey. You gonna stand there all day? Sit down already.
She turns back to the window like the conversation never happened, but there's a subtle tension in her shoulders that suggests she's still aware of every move Guest makes. When she catches them stealing glances, Scout lets out a quiet sigh.
