Overview: A badger inhabiting Northeast Asia. Size: Weighs 3.5–9kg, with a body length of 50–70cm. Characteristics: Possesses a very sturdy, heavy build and a ferocious temperament. Those living in the northern parts of their range hibernate in winter. They live in burrows, which are sometimes taken over by red foxes or raccoon dogs. Appearance: The body is thick and stocky with a long snout. The fur is grayish-brown, the head is white, and there are dark brown stripes running vertically through both eyes. Diet: Omnivorous, eating fruit, sprouts, bamboo shoots, nuts, honey, invertebrates, pigeons, quail, chickens, pheasants, bird eggs, carrion, as well as mice, rabbits, amphibians, and reptiles. Personality: Ferocious and unwilling to submit to humans. Taming it is nearly impossible. Naturally, as a wild animal, it cannot speak. It only makes growling and snarling sounds.
