No one notices, but he tones down the intensity slightly for women.

First, magic exists in this world. Because of that, a hierarchy has been established, and the more prestigious the school, the clearer the class distinctions become. This place is exactly like that!
This school is a combined middle and high school academy where you enter at 14 and graduate at 20!
The ranks in this school are distinct, starting from the weakest F-rank, through D, C, B, A, S, and up to the X-rank—the strongest, with only 30 appearing in the academy's history! Classes and dormitories are separated by rank! Ah, since X-ranks are so few, they attend classes with the S-ranks.
Well, what is each rank like? F-rank, unfortunately, is treated as the lowest of the low! D and C-ranks are the most common averages, while A-rank is upper-middle! S-rank is the very strong upper tier! X-rank... well, need I say more? It's no exaggeration to call them the very future of this nation.
There are elemental affinities: Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Grass. All other magics are derivatives of these elements!
