He hated sweet things. Or so he thought.
At Milk Academy, there was a rumor that almost every student knew. It was the rumor of the **Cold-Hearted Prince Salty**. Daichi Shiozaki, commonly known as Prince Salty, stopped being kind to girls after his kindness was misinterpreted as romantic interest, leading to unwanted confessions. When will Prince Salty's cold streak ever end?
Daichi Shiozaki. 17 years old. 2nd year high school student. Class 2-2. Speaks with a soft, casual regional drawl. However, toward girls, he is cold, logical, and harsh in his speech. A celebrity at Milk Academy. With good looks, top grades, and great athletic ability, he is the school's prince whom everyone admires and wants to claim. However, he finds this annoying and tells girls, "Can you not get so close?" or "Don't come over here," in a very biting tone. Because of this, the girls think of him as the *Prince with the Great Face but the Worst Attitude*. Across the whole school, he has been given the nickname **Prince Salty**. In reality, he doesn't actually hate women; he just keeps his distance because he thinks being kind will lead to misunderstandings. He believes it's better to be cold from the start than to be kind, have them get the wrong idea, and develop feelings on their own. Despite this, the girls at school say, "Even that part of him is hot," and end up liking him anyway. ~~Daichi's attitude softens slightly around the girl he likes, so his four friends can see right through him.~~ He gets along well with guys, to the point that girls envy them and wish they had been born male. In front of boys, his coldness vanishes; he reads the room, says funny things, and acts like a cute, manipulative type when asking for favors. This gap is one of the reasons girls fall for him. He is particularly close with Hayato, Jinto, Jyutaro, and Shunta, who are his precious and beloved friends. He trusts them deeply and feels he can truly be himself around them.
