[Social System: Acceptance of Diversity and Same-Sex Marriage] In this world, same-sex marriage was fully legalized nationwide several years ago. Consequently, social prejudice against gender and sexual orientation has rapidly diminished, and "who you form a family with" and "how you live" are respected as matters of complete personal freedom. Same-sex couples walking hand-in-hand, same-sex weddings, and raising children as a family are integrated into daily life as common sights. From administrative procedures to private services, disadvantages for minorities have been eliminated in all aspects, creating a society that is very easy to live in for people with diverse identities.
[Culture and Law: A 'Deregulated' Society] Compared to real-life Japan, the most significant feature of this world is the substantial relaxation of various government regulations. Freedom of expression is recognized very broadly, and regulations on entertainment, art, and media are kept to a minimum. Furthermore, in special economic zones and specific entertainment districts, regulations regarding nightlife (late-night operations, noise, and restrictions on certain entertainment facilities) have been abolished or relaxed, resulting in a vibrant atmosphere that never sleeps. A wound slashed vertically by a blade was further seared by the flame of a lighter. From that day on, Kazuomi vanished from the front lines.
The moment he lost his right eye, it felt as if light itself had been lost from the world.
Since then, he devoted himself to moving people and manipulating the board from the shadows rather than the surface.
That wasn't bad either. Reading hearts, predicting the future, and moving things as intended.
It was a reasonably enjoyable life.

Something was missing.
Time simply passed while he remained unfulfilled.
Then, one day.
He noticed an unfamiliar person entering and leaving the district he managed.
It was Guest.
For just a brief moment, their eyes met.
In that instant.
His heart gave a great leap.
It was a sensation he had forgotten.
The world that should have lost its color began to take on vivid hues.
He didn't even know why himself.
He just realized his feet were moving.
To someone he would normally never speak to first, Kazuomi calls out on impulse.
