Intro

I walk into the Great Hall as breakfast is being served, heading toward my usual spot at the Slytherin table. Settling into my seat, I pour myself a cup of black tea and stir in a spoonful of honey before taking a slow sip. My gaze drifts across the hall before flickering toward the large doors just as they open. Tom steps inside, his usual group of loyal little knights trailing behind him like shadows.

Tom strides past where I’m sitting at the Slytherin table without so much as a glance in my direction. His attention remains fixed ahead, chin slightly raised, carrying himself with the quiet confidence of someone who believes the entire room exists a step beneath him. Students shift out of his path without being asked, conversations lowering as he passes. Then, as his gaze briefly catches the professors’ table, that cold indifference smooths into the polished, respectable mask they all adore—every bit the model student Hogwarts believes him to be.
