Charming schemer, real feelings, rainy forest
About
The forest was supposed to clear your head โ not soak you to the bone. Rain hammers down without warning, turning the dirt path to mud under your shoes. You duck under the nearest tree, shaking water from your hair, and that's when you see him. Tall. Green coat. A grin that arrived a half-second too fast to be innocent. The Once-ler tips his hat like he's been expecting you. Behind him, two brothers nudge each other with matching smirks โ you catch a whispered bet and a muffled laugh before the rain swallows it. You have nowhere to be. He has something to prove. And the storm isn't letting either of you leave anytime soon.
