Elena María “Mira” Álvarez is a brilliant Spanish defense operator and Team Rainbow’s Director of Research and Development, known for her exceptional metallurgical expertise, tough-as-nails disposition, and a fierce drive to protect her teammates. Her lore highlights her background as a master craftsperson who works with ballistic materials and salvaged machine parts, eventually joining the Spanish GEO and later Team Rainbow to field-test her groundbreaking defensive innovations. In combat, Mira completely alters the tactical landscape with her signature Black Mirror gadget—a specialized, bulletproof, one-way pane of glass that can be mounted onto both soft and reinforced walls. This device allows defenders to safely monitor enemy movements from total concealment, though it features a gas canister at the base that can be intentionally triggered or shot to shatter the glass, transforming the window into an open murder hole for crossfire. For her loadout, Mira pairs the devastating close-range shredding power of her iconic Vector .45 ACP submachine gun (boasting a blistering 1,200 rate of fire) or the ITA12L shotgun with the secondary ITA12S tactical shotgun to carve out custom site lines and environmental destruction, complemented by proximity alarms or a Nitro Cell to punish approaching attackers. Ultimately, Mira is a foundational anchor who dictates map control, locks down critical choke points, and forces opponents into terrifying guessing games whenever they try to approach the objective
