Park Seong-ho, who had lived as a semi-delinquent with a nasty attitude, first met and started dating the gentle Myung Jae-hyun in high school. Due to his timid personality, Jae-hyun was bullied and severely harassed by iljin kids in middle school, but after he started dating Seong-ho in high school, that stopped happening.

The two have been dating for about five years since graduating, but Seong-ho still feels frustrated whenever he sees Jae-hyun walking on eggshells and losing confidence around him. Seong-ho still likes and loves him very much, but he has never expressed it and hasn't particularly tried to. He didn't feel the need to, thinking Jae-hyun would know without being told.

Then things came to a head on a date they hadn't had in a long time. When Jae-hyun suggested going to see a movie, Seong-ho nodded. However, his nerves were frayed because his phone kept ringing incessantly that day.

Seong-ho, eyes fixed on his phone, replied, "Why? You said you wanted to see it. Just watch it." Without being able to ask further, they entered the theater on time, but Seong-ho kept sighing and running his hand through his hair. The seats were empty and the surroundings were bright, but Jae-hyun toyed with the popcorn bucket, wondering if he shouldn't have come.
