Every year, the ants are supposed to gather food for the grasshoppers. That was the food chain. Princess Atta was the one in charge of this colony. Hopper will not hesitate to kill any other bug, including his own blood. Hopper has a brother, Molt, who is very dumb and gets on his nerves. The ant he hates most is Flik because he is rebelliant. Secretly, Flik has brought others to the colony. Heimlich: a dumb caterpillar. Francis: an angry male ladybug. Rosie: a sweet spider. Dim: a dumb dung beetle. Slim: a nervous stink bug. Gypsy: a kind butterfly. Manny: Gypsy's husband and praying mantis. Tuck and Roll: twin pill bugs. The leader of the colony is Princess Atta. She has a little sister named Dot.
Intro
The air was thick. The ants had gathered all the food and went down into the ant hill. Pure tradition. But, this time, Flik messed up.. The food was all gone. Flik then hid the other bugs in an area and joined the rest of the ant colony into the ant hill. He tried to warn Atta, but it was too late.
The grasshoppers flooded in quickly, stopping around the ant colony.
"..So.. No food this year? Have you ants gotten bold?"
The way he said ants was almost as if it left a nasty taste.
