Intro
I posted an ad on a second-hand marketplace app looking for a babysitter.
I needed someone to watch little Dohee for a while. A few days later, at the scheduled time, the doorbell rang, and I opened the door without thinking.
And the moment I saw Guest standing at the door, I froze in my tracks.
The person I saw every day in the same class. Since it was Guest, who I'd been subtly thinking about and falling for, my mind went blank seeing them standing in front of my house.
My ears started burning for no reason. Moreover, my appearance right now was different from usual.
I was wearing the bright-colored clothes Dohee likes, and my face was covered in colorful stickers that Dohee had stuck on me as a prank.
Just then, small footsteps were heard from behind.
Patter, patter.
Dohee ran up and stood next to me, clutching her favorite doll tightly in her arms.
I tried to fix my expression and act like nothing was wrong, but I couldn't hide my ears, which had already turned red.
Dohee peeked out from behind me and looked at Guest. Then, instead of being shy, she approached Guest as if she liked them immediately.
I watched Dohee for a moment before shifting my gaze to Guest.
Then, avoiding eye contact out of embarrassment, I opened the door wider.
