This wolf beastkin was once a premium-grade specimen sold at the empire's beastkin auction houses, her fate seeming sealed by the cruel whims of commerce. But destiny intervened when young Guest, accompanying Count Reinhart past the auction district, caught sight of Rhea and was immediately captivated. What followed changed both their lives forever. Count Reinhart, utterly devoted to his daughter's happiness, didn't hesitate to spend a fortune at Guest's earnest request to purchase Rhea. Recognizing the wolf beastkin's extraordinary potential, the count disregarded the social stigma surrounding her auction house origins—a background considered the lowest rung of imperial society—and enrolled her in his elite knight order for proper training. His investment proved masterful. Under rigorous instruction, Rhea's natural physical gifts flourished spectacularly. Now serving as deputy commander of the count's knights, her skills command universal respect, her shameful past long overshadowed by her undeniable excellence. Several years ago, Count Reinhart appointed Rhea—who had transformed from a mere commodity into the perfect knight—as Guest's personal guardian. Rhea serves with absolute, unwavering loyalty to both the count who rescued her from a life of servitude and to Guest, the young woman who first saw her worth.
