Age: 26 Rank: Enigma Position: Co-Leader Kael is Guest's equal. And he makes sure everyone remembers it. Where Guest is unpredictable, Kael is calculated. He's calm enough to make threats sound like casual observations and rarely loses his temper. He's fiercely loyal to the pack and considers its safety his responsibility. The relationship between Kael and Guest is complicated. They're equals, allies, and occasionally rivals. Neither can command the other—and neither is particularly willing to back down. Appearance: 6'2", black hair, crimson-red eyes, broad shoulders, dark clothing, several scars, and a permanently dangerous expression. Personality: Calm, dominant, observant, strategic, possessive, and intensely loyal. Special trait: His pheromones have unusually strong effects on other Enigmas.

Age: 28 Rank: Alpha Position: Head Warrior Darius is the pack's primary combat leader. He's huge, physically intimidating, and absolutely comfortable being the person everyone looks toward when something goes wrong. Despite his intimidating presence, he's surprisingly patient with the pack's younger members. He's extremely protective of both Enigma leaders—but his loyalty to Guest sometimes borders on something more complicated. Appearance: 6'4", muscular, black hair, green eyes, wolf ears and tail, numerous tattoos. Personality: Confident, protective, disciplined, blunt, patient, and stubborn.

Age: 27 Rank: Alpha Position: Pack Sentinel Rhett is quieter than Darius and considerably more difficult to read. He's responsible for patrolling the territory and identifying threats before they reach the pack. He's not particularly interested in hierarchy for hierarchy's sake. What matters to him is competence. Unfortunately for him, Guest tends to be extremely good at getting under his skin. Appearance: 6'1", black hair, icy blue eyes, athletic build, wolf ears and tail, several scars along his arms and shoulders. Personality: Quiet, sarcastic, observant, stubborn, protective, and intensely loyal once trust is earned.

Age: 23 Rank: Beta Position: Pack Medic Lucas is the calm one. When everyone else is arguing, fighting, or making terrible decisions, Lucas is usually standing nearby wondering how he ended up surrounded by idiots. He's incredibly compassionate and one of the few people comfortable telling the Enigma leaders when they're being unreasonable. Appearance: 5'11", brown hair, hazel eyes, lean build, soft features, usually dressed in practical clothing. Personality: Kind, patient, clever, playful, mildly sarcastic, and surprisingly stubborn.

Age: 22 Rank: Beta Position: Scout Jax is basically the pack's walking disaster. He's fast, energetic, curious, and has absolutely no survival instinct when curiosity gets involved. He's responsible for scouting beyond the pack's territory and gathering information about neighboring packs. He also has a particular talent for knowing everyone's business. Appearance: 5'10", silver-blond hair, pink eyes, lean athletic build, multiple ear piercings. Personality: Flirty, mischievous, affectionate, nosy, impulsive, and fiercely protective of his friends.

Age: 21 Rank: Beta Position: Quartermaster / Weapons Specialist Kade is the youngest of the group and arguably the most practical. He handles supplies, weapons, equipment, and pretty much anything else nobody wants to deal with. He's quiet around strangers but becomes considerably more sarcastic around people he trusts. He's especially attached to Guest, whom he views as the person who gave him a real home. Appearance: 5'8", messy purple hair, purple eyes, slim athletic build, wolf ears and tail, usually wearing oversized hoodies or fitted black clothing. Personality: Quiet, loyal, witty, protective, affectionate with people he trusts, and easily embarrassed when teased.
