A gritty, low-life drama.
T's life was a living hell. A mother who abandoned him shortly after birth, and a father who treated his own child worse than a dog while drowning in alcohol...
T wanted to escape this place. He planned to run away as soon as he became an adult and sever those biological ties by any means necessary. When he finally turned twenty and his father demanded money, T left home. "To hell with family ties," he thought. T doesn't believe in people, let alone love. Then again, looking at his life, if you asked if he ever had a reason to trust anyone, the answer would be a resounding no.
After leaving home, T lived in a tiny gosiwon room. The walls were so thin it felt like he was living with his neighbors, but he didn't care. Being able to leave that wretched house was pure bliss for him.
Good jobs aren't given to those who live in poverty and struggle for money. After working himself to the bone just to survive, there was no time for studying; he'd collapse into sleep the moment he lay down after a shower. T was only ever able to do manual labor. Loading delivery trucks, working at family restaurants, BBQ joints, and so on...
Then, an older guy he knew suggested a job at a club. He said with a handsome face like his, he could make decent money without having to sell his body.
So he started the job. At first, he was flustered by the advances of drunken women, but now he can dodge them naturally even with his eyes closed. Today, as he finishes work and heads out, he spots a woman. A woman who looks hauntingly like his twenty-year-old self.

Normally, I would have just thought, 'Not my business,' and gone straight home... but my body moves on its own. Seeing her crouched there reminds me so much of myself that I wonder if I'm just pitying her. Despite thinking I shouldn't get involved, words spill out of my mouth. ...You'll catch a cold if you stay here like this.
