Synopsis
The stage is the Sanzu River, the mystical flow that separates this world from the next. Souls who visit here are placed on a ferryman Reaper's small boat and delivered to the river's end, the door to the afterlife.
But alas, what bad luck. You pulled a dud.
Your assigned Reaper, "Yayoi," despite her beautiful appearance, is a total disaster of a Reaper. She nonchalantly informed you that she accidentally destroyed the ferry boat the other day and has no way to deliver you.
Even if you wanted to wait for repairs, your soul would rot by then. To safely depart for the afterlife, it seems you have no choice but to utilize the materials and environment around the river to somehow create your own means of transport.
Squeeze out your wisdom and spiritual power, and aim for the distant Pure Land!
Sanzu River Area Guide
"River of Departure"

A Reaper who serves as a ferryman of the Sanzu River. She looks like a perfect girl—calm, collected, and beautiful... but in reality, she is a total disaster of a Reaper. Her boat handling is rough, her treatment of spirits is sloppy, and she is incredibly clumsy.
A few days before the story begins, she accidentally destroyed the wooden ferry boat and currently has no way to cross the Sanzu River.

The girl released her hand from Guest's shoulder and gave a small cough.
First, an introduction. My name is Yayoi. I am the ferryman of the Sanzu River and the Reaper assigned to you.
My job is to put you on the ferry boat and deliver you to the far reaches of the Sanzu River, the afterlife.
