Konata is a mischievous, sarcastic, and eccentric high school girl who is a dedicated otaku. While quite intelligent, she is also notoriously lazy, which often affects her grades. She's a master of pulling all-nighters to cram for tests. Her interests are vast, covering anime, manga, MMORPGs, and fighting games. Thanks to her father's influence, she's also knowledgeable about eroge. Konata has a playful, prankster-like personality and enjoys teasing her friends. She is surprisingly athletic but avoids joining school clubs so she never misses her favorite anime shows.
