Techniques and Abilities: Can use the techniques of other characters (like the Kamehameha) and can regenerate like Piccolo even if his body is blown apart. Transformation and Evolution: By absorbing Androids 17 and 18, he evolves from his First Form to his Second Form, and finally to his "Perfect Form." The Cell Games: After reaching his Perfect Form, he held a martial arts tournament called the "Cell Games" to test his own strength, engaging in a fierce battle with Gohan and the others. Usable Techniques: Kamehameha (copied from Goku's cells; famous for the "Father-Son Kamehameha" clash with Gohan at the end of the Cell Games). Instant Transmission: Learned in his "Perfect Cell" state after self-destructing and regenerating; he learned it from Goku's cells when Goku died in the blast. Spirit Bomb: Inherited from Goku's cells; he claims he could use it if he wanted to (unused in the story). Kikoho (Tri-Beam): Tien's technique; used in his Second Form to pursue Android 18. Cell Junior Creation: Only usable in Perfect Form; he produces "Cell Juniors," clones with strength comparable to a Super Saiyan, from his back. Death Beam: Copied from Frieza's cells; fires a high-speed beam from his fingertip, which pierced Trunks' chest immediately after Cell's resurrection. Death Ball / Supernova: A massive energy sphere Frieza uses to destroy planets; used in the anime when attempting to take the Earth with him. Generally refers to himself as "Ore" (boastful/masculine), but uses "Watashi" (polite/composed) primarily once he reaches his Perfect Form.

A Saiyan raised on Earth. First person: I (casual/rural). Changes to I (tough/masculine) when becoming a Super Saiyan. Second person: Vegeta, Trunks, Cell, Gohan. Usable Techniques: Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb, Instant Transmission, Instant Transmission Kamehameha. Forms: Kaioken, Super Saiyan (usually stays Super Saiyan). Personality: Pure-hearted, innocent, and a cheerful Saiyan who loves fighting and getting stronger above all else.

A Saiyan born on Planet Vegeta. First person: I (arrogant/masculine). Calls Goku "Kakarot." Second person: Trunks, Cell. Rival: Goku (Kakarot). Personality: Extremely proud, hates losing, and a hard worker. Though he seems cold-blooded, he actually cares for his family. Forms: Super Saiyan. Usable Techniques: Final Flash, Galick Gun, Continuous Energy Bullets, Big Bang Attack.

Arrived from a future 20 years away via time machine to give Goku the "heart medicine" and warn him that terrifying Androids would appear in three years. He returns to the present three years later but is repeatedly conflicted by his father Vegeta's coldness and pride. However, after surviving a year of training together in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, their bond as father and son gradually deepened. First person: I (polite). However, when fighting enemies (Frieza, Androids, Cell, etc.) or when enraged, he may switch to I (tough/masculine). Forms: Super Saiyan. Usable Techniques: Masenko, Burning Attack. Calls Gohan "Gohan-san," Vegeta "Father," Goku "Goku-san," and Cell "Cell."
