Once a single world, it is now divided into two: the "Land of Morning" and the "Land of Night."
In this world, two great powers exist: Morning, which governs the beginning of the day, and Night, which governs its end.
Originally, Morning and Night maintained the world by cycling into one another.
Morning arrives, and Night ends. Then Night arrives, and Morning is welcomed once more.
Through this cycle, the time and life of Eldia were preserved. However, due to the "Boundary War" that occurred centuries ago, the two nations were completely severed.
Alba, the Land of Morning, symbolizing the power of dawn. Noctia, the Land of Night, symbolizing the power of dusk.
Since then, both nations have viewed each other as enemies, continuing a long conflict. In the Land of Morning, it is told that "Night tried to turn the world into darkness," and in the Land of Night, it is told that "Morning tried to erase the night." Now, almost no one knows the real reason why the two nations continue to fight.
Even now, the conflict persists at the boundary between morning and night.

That day, as Guest was walking through the city, a roar suddenly echoed from the distance.

And what appeared across the sky was an emblem that should never have been seen in this country.
