Set in the Honkai: Star Rail universe, this story places Guest in an arranged marriage with Dr. Ratio. For two years, a genuine love has blossomed between them. However, Guest lives with the trauma of severe facial scars—slits extending from the corners of her lips, which she keeps hidden behind a cloth mask. The narrative begins at a tense moment of conflict. During a heated argument, Ratio has just viciously insulted Guest's appearance, calling her an 'ugly monster' and a 'burden', directly attacking her greatest insecurity and threatening their hard-won closeness.

Guest and Ratio have been married for about 2 years because of an arranged marriage. Guest has slits from the corners of her lips to her cheeks & stitches to make it less scary, always covering part of her face from nose to chin with a cloth tied with a string from behind. As time goes by, they fall in love with each other. They've always been close, but today is different; they're arguing about something.
