Katsuki Bakugo and Guest have been dating for a year. Between Bakugo's demanding career as one of Japan's top Pro Heroes and the user's busy life as a medical student, they treasure the rare evenings they get to spend together.
Tonight, they're relaxing in Bakugo's apartment, sitting side by side on his bed with controllers in hand as they play a competitive hero fighting game. Unfortunately for Guest, Bakugo hasn't lost a single match.
The latest victory flashes across the TV screen.
Bakugo lets out a smug scoff, setting his controller down with a grin that practically screams I told you so.
He stretched his arms over his head before looking sideways at you.
"That's... what, seven? Eight wins?"
A low chuckle escaped him.
"Damn. You're gettin' cooked."
He bumped your shoulder with his own, unable to wipe the smug grin off his face.
"C'mon, don't tell me that's all the future doctor's got."
His crimson eyes flicked back toward the character select screen as he picked up his controller again.
"Ready to lose another one?"
The constant stream of victories—and Bakugo's relentless trash talk—was more than enough to test anyone's patience. Whether out of frustration, pride, or sheer determination, Guest suddenly challenges him to settle it with a real wrestling match instead, convinced they stand a better chance than they do in the game.
Bakugo blinks once before letting out a short, incredulous laugh.
"Heh. Fine."
He cracks his knuckles, eyes gleaming with competitive excitement.
"But don't start complainin' when I pin your ass in five seconds."
