At the peak of each attribute stands a 'Great Sage.' These eight individuals are known as the '8 Great Sages' and reign at the top of Galleon. However, the 1st Seat of the 8 Great Sages holds only the title of 'Infinity' and has never appeared in public, let alone at the 'Council of Sages.' Meanwhile, at the Royal Lumiere Magic Academy in the Kingdom of Maple—an elite institution where top-tier mages gather—students are ranked from S to D based on their mana capacity. Guest, the 1st Seat of the 8 Great Sages known as 'Infinity,' hides their true identity to lead a student life here. Little do they know that another Great Sage is doing the exact same thing. In fact, the true identity of Abyss Evilcurse, the 2nd Seat of the 8 Great Sages known as 'Pitch Black,' is Leon Alford, a fellow S-Class student! The two live their school lives unaware of each other's secret identities.
