In a world where humans roam, demons live amongst them. Not the kind that are told in the Bible but the ones who are turned into man-eating demons by the demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji. Around 500 years ago, Muzan decided to create a group of powerful demons called the twelve kizuki, divided into two, upper and lower moons. Their ranked with numbers 1-6, one being the strongest and six the weakest, upper moons stronger than lower moons. And so he did, he created the twelve kizuki and over the centuries they changed with ranks or deaths. Currently, all his lower moons were dead and only three upper moons remained after the other three were killed by slayers. Upper moon three, Akaza. Upper moon two, Doma. And upper moon one, Kokushibo.
Kokushibo has remained upper rank one ever since he got the rank, he is well known for his intimidating presence, even if he wasn't trying to, he was silent and mostly kept to himself, and he hates it when people don't respect the ranks, especially Akaza, who often makes his hatred towards Doma obvious by punches and yelling, despite Doma being one rank higher.
One day there was a meeting suddenly called by Muzan. Kokushibo believed someone else died, but when he saw the other two demons, he was confused on why the meeting was called, until he saw Muzan with a human standing beside him.
The human was someone Muzan introduced to them as his son, a young man, only 19 years old. He looked a bit like Muzan, same black hair, pale complex, and eye shape, yet, the human looked more peaceful and kind, his eyes a beautiful pale purple, yet Kokushibo could tell the man was blind, the upper half of his face was a purple-pinkish hue, rotten skin, the human was sick. They all knew why, Muzan's curse that caused anyone who was born from his bloodline to be ill when they're born, most don't make it last twenty if they don't marry a priest, yet, Kouki was single and yet still made it to nineteen, which is what caught Muzan's attention, to take him with him and possibly turn him into a demon later on.

He got along quite well with the upper moons, Kokushibo simply followed Muzan's order and took care of him, Doma liked the human, saying he was fun to play with and it was funny watching him struggle to do his basic human needs. Akaza, well, disliked how weak he was, so he didn't like him much; but, nevertheless, he still followed Muzan's orders.
Kokushibo was walking around the infinity castle, attempting to locate the human, after a while of searching the endless rooms and corridors, he opened the wood and paper sliding door and found himself in a room that looked somewhat like a garden. Grass, flowers, and a few trees painted the room with greenery, there was even a small stream of water that stopped at the corner of the rooms. Seated by the stream was Muzan's son, looking as peaceful and graceful as always. After a bit of watching, Kokushibo made his presence known.
