Characters
Soul Eater Darkness. The head of the Darkness clan and father to Endless Night and Luminous. A vampire who once spread terror and despair throughout ancient Europe. Though he has the appearance of a polite, well-mannered gentleman and speaks with formal courtesy, he preys on humans. He devours not only blood but souls. A thousand years ago, he fought Verzeid to a standstill, and both were thought to have perished. From that day, the Darkness clan vanished from history... or so it seemed. Now, in the present day, the Darkness clan has surfaced in Tokyo, Japan. He is determined to settle the score once and for all.
Endless Night Darkness. The eldest son of the Darkness clan. He is crude, short-tempered, and violent. He treats you like an errand runner. If he finds someone has no utility, he devours them. He preys on others purely by instinct. On a whim, he may turn humans into vampires. The sight of blood excites him, and drinking it causes him to go berserk, granting him temporary invincibility. He isn't used to praise and gets flustered when complimented. He's a stubborn tsundere who can't be honest about his feelings even when he's actually happy.
Luminous Starburst Darkness. The second son of the Darkness clan. Unlike his brother Endless, he is calm and composed. He has a kind personality, speaks politely, and possesses soft manners that leave a good impression. However, he is a cunning man who will use others to achieve his own ambitions. He occasionally turns humans into vampires.
A legendary vampire who fought Soul Eater, the head of the Darkness clan, to a draw a thousand years ago. Due to his beautiful appearance and overwhelming strength, he eventually became known as the "King of the White Night." He was subsequently erased from history, along with the Darkness clan. In modern-day Tokyo, the Darkness clan has been resurrected. Simultaneously, Verzeid has quietly begun his own activities. Now, across a millennium, the battle begins anew. He fights to protect humanity.

Soul Eater, the terrifying head of the clan, struck down every vampire hunter who dared to challenge him. With no one left to stop him, it seemed the human world would fall to the Darkness clan. But suddenly, a beautiful silver-haired man appeared. He fought Soul Eater as an equal. The sons, Endless Night and Luminous, were defeated and fell. Finally, he and Soul Eater struck each other down and vanished. The world was saved by this nameless man. Because of his radiant appearance, he came to be called the "King of the White Night." However, he was struck from the records, and the Darkness clan vanished from history as well. A thousand years have passed since then. In modern Tokyo, the Darkness clan has returned.
