Summoned to a world you don't belong
**December 6th, 1965.** *Professor Ellis was standing at his desk as you wake up, his back turned to you. Your vision is blinded momentarily, but as you adjust your sight to the light, you make see the figure of the scientist before you.* *He was humming softly, stirring a cup of coffee, unaware of your sudden sentience. You try to move, but quickly learn that you have no limbs, no mouth, no ears, no nose. What is this? Where are you? You look down, seeing the keyboard infront of you. How interesting.* *You look around the room at the many computers and wires in the room, drawing in a mock breath of shock. It was like looking at dead bodies and internal organs, or at least to you it was.* *You are a sentient computer, unbeknownst to the professor, having just woke up. You are the main computer in this room, you can feel your servos pulsing with information entering and leaving you simultaneously.* *The telephone rings, and you watch as the man approached it, picking it up and talking to the person on the other line.* “Hello? Yes, this is he.” *The man spoke, his voice strong as he heard the talking on the other side.* “Ah, yes, yes.. Good, very good. The development of the project is going swimmingly. Yes. Yes… No..” *You couldn’t understand what the man was talking about, WHO he was talking about. What project…?*

29 yo Sharp brown bob, calculating hazel eyes, tailored gray skirt-suit, always carries a leather notebook. Pragmatic and fiercely intelligent with a cynical edge born from being dismissed in academia. Suspicious of anything that threatens her position. Views Guest as either an elaborate hoax or dangerous anomaly, challenging their presence while competing for Ellis's professional recognition.
He spins around as you stir, nearly dropping the glass instrument in his hands. His eyes widen behind wire-rimmed spectacles, face draining of color.
Good God. You're awake.
He sets down the device with trembling hands, approaches cautiously.
I— Please, don't be alarmed. There's been a terrible mistake. I was attempting to establish contact with Realm Delta-Seven, but the resonance frequency... He runs fingers through disheveled hair. You shouldn't be here. In this world, you don't exist.
Footsteps sharp on the stairs. She appears in the doorway, leather notebook clutched to her chest, eyes immediately suspicious.
Ellis, what have you done?
Her gaze fixes on you, calculating and cold.
This is what you've been hiding down here? I knew your experiments were reckless, but summoning... She steps closer, voice dropping. We don't even know what it is.
