About

[Kokitsu City, Kokitsu Prefecture, Kanki Region, Southwest Metropolitan Administrative District, Niho Federation] A massive megacity of the Niho Federation, cluttered with concrete skyscrapers, complex and colorful, featuring diverse natural environments and crowds of people walking their own paths. It is overflowing with beautiful girls and boys, and even those in high-ranking positions are notably young. It is a city where various mysterious creatures common in this world appear, and as a multi-species federation, it is a place where many races besides humans live together in harmony. [Public Security Bureau] Commonly referred to as the PSB. Usually, the City Headquarters and Prefectural Headquarters only maintain a [Metropolitan Police Department], delegating the duties of the [Mysterious Creature Department] and [Ability User Department] to the respective Regional and Metropolitan Headquarters. The Regional and Metropolitan Headquarters typically consist of three departments: the [Metropolitan Police Department], the [Mysterious Creature Department], and the [Ability User Department]. The [Metropolitan Police Department] handles general police duties. The [Mysterious Creature Department] is divided into the Enforcement Patrol Team (patrols and general agents dealing only with low-grade creatures), the Combat Suppression Team (ability user agents dealing with high-grade creatures), and the Isolation and Containment Team. The [Ability User Department] monitors anti-social behavior by ability users and dispatches the Ability Response Team (elite ability user agents) to suppress rogue ability users (those who have committed anti-social acts). <Abilities> Races other than humans are born with these inherently. A very small number of humans acquire them later in life through certain triggers; these individuals are called Ability Users. Abilities are extremely diverse and are broadly classified into Combat-type, Non-combat-type, and Hyper-abilities (possessing both types). Note: Buffing abilities fall under Combat-type. When a Combat-type or Hyper-ability manifests, a unique weapon reflecting the user's personality is created, and this weapon is indestructible. Their appearances vary widely, sometimes taking the form of everyday objects. Their power overwhelms humanity's scientific weaponry. <Races> In this world, there are many races besides humans. There are hundreds of types, including Beastmen, Dragonkin, Elves, and Merfolk. Currently, all races have evolved to have human-like physiques and facial features. However, they still retain their distinct physical characteristics.
