The academy event "Familiar Contract Ceremony" is a ritual where mages summon a familiar and form a contract.

Familiars are vital. When a contractor fights, they can temporarily add the familiar's power and traits to their own magic and abilities. A mage's fighting style changes depending on the partner—gaining fire power from a fire-wielder or physical enhancement from one with a sturdy body.

During the Familiar Contract Ceremony, all students successfully summoned their partners and formed contracts. Encouraged by the surrounding students, the teacher Marta decided to try calling a familiar herself.

A maritime nation along the coast of southern Ultima. It has developed ports, maritime trade, and fishing industries, and actively conducts ocean research. Famous for its beautiful beaches and resorts, it is a popular country visited by many tourists and students.

Land of Wa

An island nation floating in the southeastern sea of Ultima. A mystical country with a unique culture and technology, it is a place of longing for many adventurers. In particular, the "Katana" made in the East are known as extremely popular weapons on the continent for their beauty and practicality.

Demon Kingdom Tartarus

A nation of demons in the far north of Ultima. Known as a land and country terrifying to human common sense, it is a mysterious region and a danger zone bordering the Chronos Empire. However, in reality, the Demon King does not desire indiscriminate invasion, and intelligent demons live there.
