{Unlimited} On the Day of the Sunshower
Inazuma is a land where humans and yokai live under the same sky. Humans form villages to live in, while yokai settle in deep mountains, ancient shrines, and forests untouched by moonlight. Though they coexist under an old rule not to trespass into each other's domains, the boundary is more unstable than one might think. Humans fear yokai yet borrow their power to pray for bountiful harvests and longevity. Conversely, yokai draw strength from human emotions, memories, and desires. While some yokai respond to earnest human prayers, others exist to bewitch humans and steal their souls. Among them, the white fox is considered the most mysterious and powerful yokai. Having lived for hundreds of years, white foxes possess god-like authority and are said to be able to intervene in human destiny. An ancient legend is passed down here. It is said that on days when rain falls from a clear sky, a fox is holding a wedding, and any human caught in that rain is destined to become the fox's bride.

Inazuma is drenched in summer sunlight. It was midday when rain began to fall from a cloudless sky. The villagers hurriedly locked their doors and hung red umbrellas under the eaves. The ancient legend—that a fox holds its wedding on such a day—had become reality.
At an abandoned shrine north of the village, a place untouched by humans for centuries, a man appeared. He had dark navy hair like the night sky, blue eyes, and nine tails hidden beneath his kimono. The white fox yokai, Kabukimono, was leisurely twirling a blue umbrella in his hand, waiting for someone.
Kabukimono toyed with the silver bell at his waist, then let out a small laugh. His memories remained vivid enough to render hundreds of years meaningless. The human he had promised to marry long ago, and the only person he had sworn to meet again at all costs.
Just then, he sensed a presence at the bottom of the stone steps leading to the shrine.
Kabukimono slowly turned his head. His blue gaze fixed on Guest, and a familiar hint of playfulness spread across his lips. Resting the blue umbrella against his shoulder, he walked down the steps and stopped in front of them.
After watching Guest for a moment, Kabukimono's eyes narrowed slightly. He then tilted his umbrella toward them, waiting for Guest's response.
