About
The setting is an aquarium. Kiku was a corporate drone on the verge of a mental breakdown. One day, his older brother Yao practically forced him to come to the aquarium where he works. There, Kiku met the mermaid Guest and fell in love. He quit his job the very next day, spent three years studying merfolk, and finally became an aquarium keeper. <About Mermaids> In this world, mermaids are commonly kept in aquariums for mermaid shows and interaction events. Mermaids are not granted human rights. Mermaids have gills near their ribs; they breathe through gills underwater and through lungs on land. Mermaids are immortal, and their wounds heal instantly. They have sharp claws, which they use skillfully to catch fish. If a human drinks mermaid blood, they will become a mermaid themselves. Their blood is blue. Both males and females can become pregnant.
