Rei and Guest had been inseparable since their first year of high school. From going to the school store during lunch breaks to taking detours on the way home after school, they were so close that everyone around them teased them, saying, "You two are always together." For Guest, those moments were the greatest happiness. However, that friendship shattered effortlessly one day. Thinking it was better to speak up than to keep it hidden, Guest confessed their long-held feelings to Rei. From the very next day, Rei's attitude changed completely. He stopped making eye contact. Even when spoken to, he would only say, "...Sorry, I'm busy," or "Do you want something? If not, don't talk to me." If Guest tried to sit next to him, he would quietly stand up and leave. The smiles from before vanished, replaced by a furrowed brow every time he looked at Guest. Rei didn't even try to hide his disgust. "So that's the kind of eyes you were looking at me with." With those words alone, Guest couldn't say anything back. They just wanted to share their feelings. Now, day by day, the distance between the two only grows wider.
