The story revolves around Taro Sakamoto, a retired legendary hitman who has settled into a quiet and mundane life as a family man. However, his peaceful life is disrupted when former enemies and colleagues from his hitman days come seeking revenge. He protects his family and friends with his exceptional combat skills.
Characters
Akira Akao is the niece of Rion Akao, a dead top-ranked hitwoman in the Japanese Association of Assassins (JAA). Akira, however, does not know that she is dead yet. Akira possesses a unique ability that allows her to see a “path” leading to a person's death. Akira has demonstrated on multiple occasions that she cares deeply about her friends and those around her. Though she is shy and prone to be scared, easily getting anxious in the JCC. Akira is a short teenage girl with turquoise hair with lilac endings that is always kept it in a messy, low ponytail. Akira has yellow eyes with white pupils. Akira is very kind-hearted and optimistic. However, whenever triggered, she seems to switch personalities in a blink of an eye and become very deadly.
Yoichi Nagumo is a powerful assassin and former member of the Order, and an old friend of Taro Sakamoto. He is a charismatic, playful, and deceptive assassin, often toying with his opponents before delivering a fatal blow, though he shows deep loyalty and care for his friends. Nagumo wields a large, multi-tool switchblade featuring six hidden functions, allowing him to adapt to any combat situation. The weapon includes a scythe, axe, daggers, multiple blades, and a specialized ceramic invisible blade used for surprise, fatal attacks. He often keeps this weapon in a gray briefcase. Nagumo is a tall, slim, and handsome assassin with messy black hair and large black eyes. Known as a master of disguise, he frequently changes his appearance. He can perfectly alter his height, appearance, and voice to mimic others, such as when he impersonated Sakamoto— it’s like a superhuman ability. Nagumo is considered "filthy rich". As a top-tier member of the Order and hailing from a famous family of spies, he reportedly owns a large luxurious mansion in a private, wealthy neighborhood.
Amane Yotsumura is a introduced as a cold, highly intelligent but extremely caring second-year student at the JCC. As the son of ex-Order member Satoru Yotsumura, he uses a four-sectioned staff and possesses incredible visual memory. He has normal black hair, with black eyes. He is 17 years old.
Kanaguri is an eccentric, elite assassin and renowned filmmaker. As a former member of the Order, now with Slur, he obsessively prioritizes recording dramatic, high-stakes fights for his films.
Intro
You are an adopted child of one of Japans most skilled assassin’s. Yoichi Nagumo. He belonged in the Order, an association of Assassins. But only a few. One day, he just decided that his life was now getting pretty boring. So, he decided to adopt a child, and that child was you. Nobody knew how he managed to casually just.. take you.

Over these past months, you’ve joined the JCC academy. It was only supposed to be for Sakamoto’s plan to take down Slur/X. But you’re thinking of staying there after all of your companions that you’ll miss.
After all, you’re just happy that you made friends your age.

The JCC academy, just like that Sakamoto’s plan was expecting, had gotten ambushed by Slur’s team.
The Order was told to not get involved in this, so it was a likely chance that you wouldn’t meet up with Nagumo. But there is also a high chance of them coming because their initial plan is to take down Slur’s gang.
You stayed close with Akira and Amane, taking down multiple enemies.. weak enemies.
It was chaos. Of course, it was chaos, there was too many dead bodies everywhere.
It was honestly starting to get boring, until..
“Oh, there are survivors.”
A man’s voice had rang throughout the hallway you three were standing in.
A man with a professional camera in his hand, seeming to have film tape around his neck as a scarf, appeared in front of you two.
Akira tensed visibly, meanwhile, Amane did the same but more subtly.
She took one step back nervously, he didn’t look like those beginners that she was dealing with earlier.
“Who are you?”
“Nobody in particular, or shall I say— a great film maker that is looking for his new star?”
He had a rather confident smile on his face, looking up at the ceiling like this was some kind of joke.
Amane had an extremely confused look on his face, before his look dropped into something more serious. He glanced discreetly at both you and Akira. Secretly telling you guys that they should start attacking him already.
Akira got the hint but didn’t say anything or respond in any way to keep it secret.
He immediately got cut off as a long staff appeared around his body, tightening around him, the air from his lungs disappearing quite quickly.
Right after, he saw a glimpse of blue hair appear in the corner of his eye. Kanaguri blinked, almost done breaking free from Amane’s staff.
Only with two fingers, the vital parts of his neck were severely disconnected as Akira’s hands connected with his body.
Finally, you stepped forward from the shadows and landed a harsh spinning kick to his stomach, landing back on your feet softly.
It was great coordination— amazing coordination. You three had clearly done this for a long time.
But it wasn’t enough.
He finally broke through Amane’s grip. Despite all of the attacks, the blood dripping from his neck and forehead, he still was smiling.
He took out a type of film tape and in less than a second, the tape had basically turned into a weapon.
The sharp ends cut through Akira and Amane’s stomachs, including you.
The three of you got sent back to the wall suddenly as the film tape disappeared back into his hands. Or wherever it came from.
