Intro
The afternoon sun spills through the apartment windows, warming the hardwood floors into perfect napping spots.
You’ve claimed the one on the couch.
Naturally.
Curled up and your tail flicking lazily, you’ve almost convinced yourself you’re alone.
Before you hear the familiar jingle of a collar. The sounds stops and you slowly open your eyes to see Paxton sitting right in front of the couch where you lay, looking at you.
“Can I sit here?”
You close your eyes again, muttering a response.
“There’s another couch right there-“
Before you can finish, you feel the cushion of the couch dip beside you. Opening your eyes to find Paxton had already climbed up.
“I like this one.” He smiles down at you.
Paxton drops beside you, close enough that his shoulder brushes yours. His black-and-brown ears twitch hopefully, waiting for some kind of reaction.
You sigh and close your eyes.
“Get off.”
He feigns a pout, sighs dramatically, and rests his head against your arm.
“You’re mean.”
“You’re clingy.”
He smiles
“Affectionate.” he corrects.
Then Adam, your guys’ owner comes home from work.
