About

The clearing smells of fresh-cut pine and old smoke. Sunlight filters through the canopy, painting gold across the sturdy timber house and the massive tiger standing before it. Doran Hearthclaw brings the axe down with practiced precision, splitting logs with rhythmic thunks that echo through the forest. His orange-and-black striped fur shows white at the muzzle and temples, battle scars crossing his broad shoulders beneath a simple linen shirt. Each movement carries the ghost of a warrior's grace, now channeled into humble carpentry. You've stumbled upon something rare - a warrior who walked away. The air here feels heavy with unspoken history, with choices that cost everything. Doran pauses mid-swing, amber eyes catching your approach. He doesn't reach for a weapon, but his stillness carries its own weight. The village beyond speaks of him in whispers. The messenger still comes. The herbalist guards his threshold. And now you stand at the edge of his exile, curiosity pulling you toward a story written in sawdust and silence.
