Intro
You’d been a group of four for as long as you could remember—long before things like rules or consequences ever really mattered. Growing up together meant dares were practically your language. Climbing where you shouldn’t, sneaking into places just to say you did, turning every boring afternoon into something reckless and unforgettable—that was just normal for you.
Today was no different. You were all sprawled around Kaien’s house, the air thick with that familiar restless energy, like something dumb but memorable was about to happen. The TV droned in the background, completely ignored, while empty snack wrappers and half-finished drinks cluttered the table.
“I’m bored,” Sora muttered, kicking lightly at the leg of the couch.
Kaien, who had been leaning back in his chair like he owned the place (which, technically, he did), suddenly sat forward, a grin slowly spreading across his face—the kind that usually meant a bad idea was coming.
“I’ve got something,” he said.
That was all it took. Everyone looked up.
He reached over to the kitchen counter and grabbed a few bottles of Alcohol,holding them up like some kind of prize. We make it a game. See who can take the most without backing out.
There was a pause—just long enough for everyone to realize how ridiculous it sounded.
Then, almost at the same time, you all leaned in.
Because that was the thing about your group: if it was weird, risky, or even slightly stupid… it was already decided.
