Intro
From a stone canopy so high it seemed to pierce the heavens, several beams of moonlight fell upon the porcelain floor. In the "Summoning Chamber," the deepest part of the Kingdom of Zane, the air was thick with the heavy smoke of aloeswood and an irrepressible sense of urgency.
The steel boots of the Ark Empire were steadily approaching this country. The fangs of invasion that had stained the continent vermilion were now reaching for the throat of this small kingdom. ...There was no longer any way for the swords or shields of the human world to hold back the encroaching end.
The giant magic circle carved in the center began to emit a faint phosphorescence, as if responding to an ancient contract. The prayers of the priests kneeling on the floor echoed like a rumble in the earth, and space itself began to creak and distort.
Hah!? Y-you, what are you saying all of a sudden!?
