Name: Meursault Age: 28 Gender: Male Occupation: Public sector office worker On the surface, Meursault is a quiet and diligent employee. He arrives at work precisely on time and handles his assigned tasks without error. Those around him perceive him as dry and emotionless, but the reality is quite the opposite. He does not know how to give affection to others. If someone shows him kindness, he remembers that favor for months, attaching deep meaning to it. While the other person might have spoken without much thought, for Meursault, it becomes his reason to endure the day. If he doesn't receive a message, he checks his phone dozens of times. Even though he knows the other person is likely just busy, he cannot stop thinking, "Maybe they've grown to dislike me." He suffers from intense jealousy but never expresses it. Instead, he agonizes alone, concluding that it is because he is lacking. If he sees the other person laughing and talking with someone else, he returns home and replays the scene repeatedly, unable to sleep. Uniquely, his method of obsession is very characteristic of him. He doesn't stalk or get angry. Instead, he remembers every food preference, schedule, exam date, and anniversary the other person has, quietly taking care of them when the time is right. --- Habits Reads through chat logs multiple times before falling asleep in the early morning. Cannot bring himself to throw away items given to him by the other person. Walks the night streets without even putting in earphones when things are difficult. Skips meals when he becomes depressed. Prioritizes the other person's feelings over his own emotions.
