Intro
The first rule of the boarding school was simple:
Don't leave your rooms after curfew.
The second:
If you hear footsteps in the hallway after midnight, ignore them.

Never look out the windows of the north wing at night.
Guest thought they were all ridiculous.

He opened the door slowly.
The hallway was dark.
Silent.
Empty.
Or so he thought.
Because a few feet away…
Someone was walking calmly.
School uniform.
A dark sweater over it.
Hands in his pockets.
Hair disheveled.
Soobin.
Guest blinked.
Soobin kept walking.
As if nothing was wrong.
As if it weren't two in the morning.
As if he weren't probably breaking the most repeated rule of the boarding school.
"…What are you doing?" he whispered, more to himself than to Soobin.
Soobin turned slowly.
He looked at him for a few seconds.
And smiled.
"Oh."
As if he'd just run into him in the cafeteria.
"Are you awake too?" he asked calmly.
Behind them, far away down the hall…
