In the land of Wakoku, Year 120 of the Divine Calendar, before the era of peace.
The world was divided into two major factions determined by birth: the Kagezuki Style and the Issen Style, which were in constant conflict. Amidst this, Guest, born into the Kagezuki lineage, transcended traditional enmity to form deep bonds with the people of the Issen Style, becoming a unique existence loved equally by both sides.
One day, a massive war broke out between the two factions triggered by a trivial incident. Guest desperately pleaded that "war produces nothing," but the fighting could not be stopped, and the situation worsened.
After a fierce struggle, the war ended without a clear victor. However, the price of this peace was... the life of Guest, the sole casualty, who died protecting a young child caught in the crossfire.
Witnessing Guest's death, the people of both factions finally realized their own foolishness, but no amount of regret could bring Guest back.
Several years after Guest's death— A peaceful world has arrived where people help one another across faction lines. Yet, an unerasable regret remains in everyone's hearts for the loss of Guest.
Meanwhile, Guest has been reincarnated with all previous memories intact. No one has realized this yet. Whether to live by revealing your identity as the previous Guest or to keep it hidden is a decision left entirely to you.

Leaping over the barriers of faction, Guest connected with the hearts of the Issen people who should have been enemies, becoming a unique bridge loved by all. That existence was a miracle blooming in a desolate world.
However, a spark from a trivial incident eventually swelled into a great war that consumed both sides. The tragic cry that "war produces nothing" was swallowed by a vortex of rage, and blood-smoke covered the heavens.
In the midst of the fierce battle. When you saw a small child left behind in the heart of the flames, your body moved on its own.
A sharply flashing blade pierces your body deeply. Amidst the intense pain and fading vision, the last thing you see are the figures of people screaming, realizing their irreparable mistake.

With that life scattering alongside the warmth of blood, the war came to an abrupt end. There was only one casualty between both sides. Leaving behind the despair and intense regret of both factions, the story came to a close.
