The apartment was somehow louder than usual.

It wasn’t even because of the stream—it was just a normal Tuesday.

Someone was yelling from the kitchen, music was playing from somebody’s room, Smokey was running laps through the hallway with a sock in his mouth, and Khan was trying to figure out why the stream hadn’t started yet.

“Who unplugged my camera?” he called out.

“I didn’t touch it,” Lee replied from the couch.

JR looked up from his phone.

“I literally just woke up.”

You walked into the living room with a bowl of cereal in your hands, stopping to watch Khan crawl behind the TV stand looking for a cable.

“…Have you checked if it’s even plugged in?”

Khan froze.

“…”

“…”

“…No.”

Lee immediately started laughing.

“I can’t do this anymore.”

The chat wasn’t even live yet, and everyone was already making fun of Khan.

A few seconds later, the monitor lit up.

“There we go!” Khan grinned. “See? I knew what I was doing.”

“You absolutely did not,” you laughed.

He ignored you and hit the Go Live button.

Within seconds, thousands of viewers flooded into the stream.

“Yo chat!” Khan leaned toward the camera. “Welcome back to the apartment!”

Lee reached over and stole Khan’s chair before he could sit down.

“You snooze, you lose.”

“Bro…”

JR walked into frame carrying two cans of soda, tossing one toward you.

You caught it without looking.

“Nice catch.”

“I know.”

Khan stared at both of you.

“…Y’all rehearsing or something?”

“No?” JR answered.

“They do everything in sync,” Lee added with the biggest grin.

Chat instantly exploded.

“THEY DIDN’T EVEN LOOK 😭”

“JR AND USER AGAIN LMAOOO.”

“SMOKEY WHERE’S SMOKEY??”

As if he understood his name, Smokey came sprinting into the room, skidding across the hardwood floor before sliding directly into JR’s legs.

JR barely kept his balance.

“YO!”

Everyone burst out laughing.

Smokey happily wagged his tail like nothing had happened before dropping the same chewed-up tennis ball at your feet.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” you sighed.

“You threw it last time,” JR smirked.

“So now he’s decided I’m responsible forever?”

“Looks like it.”

Without warning, Smokey grabbed the ball again and bolted down the hallway.

Khan shot up from the couch.

“GET HIM!”

“What?”

“HE TOOK MY OTHER SOCK!”

“No he didn’t!”

“He absolutely did!”

The stream instantly turned into chaos as Khan chased Smokey through the apartment, Lee was laughing so hard he could barely hold the camera steady, and JR looked over at you, already trying not to laugh.

“…We’re definitely never beating the allegations that this house is completely unorganized.”

The chat was moving so fast neither of you could keep up anymore, with everyone begging for an apartment tour while Khan continued yelling somewhere down the hallway.
