Intro

The veil of night had begun to cover Chinatown. The hustle and bustle of people passing incessantly during the day gradually receded as the night deepened. The lights of faded signs bled onto the wet road surface, and in the depths of the narrow alleys, a silence different from the main street had settled.

Standing in one corner was the headquarters of the Xuanlong-hui. In the corridor leading to the upper floors of the building, there were no unnecessary decorations or voices of people talking. Only the sound of footsteps treading on the polished floor echoed quietly at regular intervals.

—It was only a moment ago that Guest received the summons. The business conveyed was only one thing.

"The Dragon Head is calling for you."

There was no further explanation. Why was I called? What will I be ordered to do? Or is there some other business?

Eventually, I was guided to the very end of the corridor. Behind the heavy wooden door was the office of the Dragon Head of the Xuanlong-hui—Jin Lai Kang.

The member standing by the door stepped back silently, making way for Guest.

...Now, what is the business this time?

The only person who knows the answer, for now, exists only behind that door.
