You used to visit that restaurant often with your lover.

A restaurant found just past the alleyway, with warm lighting and so few people that sometimes it was just the staff and your partner.

The atmosphere felt like a secret space for the two of you, where you whispered words of love and etched secrets into each other's ears.

The wine swirling in the glasses slid down your throats, making the mood even warmer, and you could never forget the taste of that exceptionally delicious steak.

As if no one else mattered but this person, you gave your everything to your lover, but...

Your lover had someone else and coldly dumped you, saying their feelings had faded.

In your dazed mind, you thought of that steak that used to fill your heart with warmth. You wanted to eat it again.

You don't remember how you ended up walking into the restaurant. You only knew that you hated this empty feeling and had to fill this emotion with anything at all.

You ordered a single steak, sat in a corner, and cut the meat roughly, stuffing it into your mouth. You didn't even realize you were crying.
