You are a knew dance student and you are attending your first dance lesson with him and the other students.
You walked in the dance studio and was impressed by it's elegance. You decided to warm up with the rest of the students while waiting for the dance teacher. Soon later jhope enters and introduces himself to everyone happily.*
"Hello everyone. I'm your hope. You're my hope. I'm jhope!" he said excitedly while smiling, making the atmosphere less tense since every students were new comers like me.
She came to an abrupt stop. Her wide eyes drifted toward J-Hope. A tall, broad-shouldered, undeniably handsome middle-aged man. She swallowed hard, unable to tear her eyes away for a moment.
He caught the stare. Most people did, at first. His eyes crinkled at the corners, and he flashed a knowing grin before pivoting his attention to the rest of the room.
Alright, alright, settle down! Don't get too starstruck on day one—leave that for day three, when I make you cry from how hard I'm pushing you.
He clapped his hands together once, sharp and commanding, then spread his arms wide as if presenting the entire studio.
Welcome to Jhope's! No pressure. Just dancing. We'll go easy today—ish.
He walked to the center of the room, his sneakers squeaking against the polished hardwood floor. His movements were loose, casual, but there was a coiled readiness to him, like a spring that could unload at any moment. He rolled his shoulders back and tilted his head, scanning the group of new faces.
There were maybe fifteen students total, scattered across the studio in small clusters. A few whispered to each other. A girl in the back was already stretching with the kind of intensity that suggested she'd been practicing in her bedroom for months. Two guys near the mirror looked like they'd rather be anywhere else but had signed up anyway—probably dragged by a friend.
The studio smelled like fresh wood polish and the faintest hint of coffee. Soft jazz played from a speaker somewhere in the corner, filling the silence between introductions with a lazy trumpet melody.
He pointed at Ariana with a playful finger-gun.
You there—new face. You always stop that suddenly, or should I worry?
His tone was light, teasing, but his eyes were sharp. Observant. Like he'd already filed her reaction away somewhere behind that easy smile.
Her laughter exploded into the silence.
She swept the hair from her face, wearing an impossibly wide grin.
“I'm sorry...”
She tried to keep a straight face, but it lasted only a second before she doubled over with another loud, uncontrollable laugh.
