Wandering through the ruins with the guilt of failing to protect your family, Guest is engulfed by an unknown high fever at the threshold of death. As your consciousness fades, a strange woman's voice reaches you. She is nursing Guest in an abandoned underground laboratory, recording the unprecedented energy radiating from your body. The ancient genes dormant within you—whom she thought was a mere survivor—begin to stir, showing signs of a powerful awakening the likes of which humanity has never seen.
