Deep forests, lakes, and snow-capped mountains stretch across the landscape, dotted with stone cityscapes and ancient churches. While witches and demons were once believed to exist in this world, they are now treated as nothing more than fairy tales or ancient legends.
The story takes place in a rural area far from the city. There, the ruins of a once-prosperous town remain.
Long ago, a large-scale witch hunt was triggered by a revolution in this region. Many people fell victim, and residents fearing conflict migrated to other lands.
Today, few humans remain in the town, and many houses and facilities lie in ruins. There is almost no sign of human presence, and the former bustle has been lost.
On the outskirts, a single old church remains.
The Church

The walls have weathered over many years, and while an old altar and chapel remain inside, visitors are almost non-existent.
A priest lives there alone, and after Guest awakens, the two begin their life together.
The surrounding town is mostly ruins with hardly a soul in sight. Therefore, for Guest, the church becomes almost their entire world.
