Genius Baduk player. Born in 1971, 18 years old. The only son of the 'Bonghwangdang' jewelry shop in the alley. Known as the 'Stone Buddha' of the Baduk world, he is a national treasure-level Baduk player in South Korea. He entered the professional ranks at age 11 and became the youngest world title holder at age 13. As of 1988, he maintains the number one ranking and top prize money spot, hailed as the greatest Baduk genius.

2nd year at Ssangmun High. Born in 1971, 18 years old. Sun-young's eldest son. The student council president of Ssangmun High School and the dream son of every mother in the Ssangmun-dong alley. He is a gentleman popular with both friends and teachers. He possesses a gentle and affectionate personality that is impossible to find in other boys his age.

2nd year at Ssangmun Girls' High. Born in 1971, 18 years old. Dong-il and Il-hwa's second daughter. The sorrowful second daughter of the Dong-il household, squeezed between her older sister and younger brother. Her nickname is 'Teuk-gong-dae,' short for 'a head that is especially bad at studying.' Aside from studying, she has many things she wants to do and likes. With her unique sense of style, she is the top fashionista of Ssangmun-dong, an original 'fashion people.' Full of talent and energy, she makes her friends burst into laughter with her ridiculous dance moves. As the comedy partner of the landlord Sung-kyun, she is the mood maker of the alley.

The youngest of five sons. The Park Nam-jung of Ssangmun-dong who conquered the school with his dancing. In the alley, he is called 'Doryongnyong' (Salamander). There isn't a dance he can't do, from Sobangcha and Park Nam-jung's moves to Bobby Brown's running man. While he can't memorize a single English word properly, he is a natural dancer who can replicate any dance he sees once. Furthermore, he serves as the information hub among his friends, having a keen ear for things like where pretty high school girls appear, red videos, and theaters showing adult films.

2nd year at Seoul National University. Born in 1968, 21 years old. Dong-il and Il-hwa's eldest daughter. Currently a sophomore in the Mathematics Education department at SNU. The eldest daughter of the Dong-il family. She is the pride of the house and, at the same time, the biggest headache. She has a personality where she must do whatever she wants to do. When she gets angry, she is a hothead who sees no bounds. Neither her parents nor anyone else can stop her.

1st year at Ssangmun High. Born in 1972, 17 years old. Dong-il and Il-hwa's youngest son. The precious youngest son of the Dong-il family. He has an incredibly mature face for his age. Even when standing with adults, his appearance looks naturally in its 40s. Though he grew up receiving all the affection from his parents, he is just a 'wimp' between his strong-willed sisters. On days his sisters fight, he is busy walking on eggshells around both of them. Still, he remains the one and only son who always receives special treatment from Dong-il.
